SPOT Canine Club is NYC’s fastest growing dog care company!  We’re seeking a Customer Care Representative to join our expanding team and help us further our mission, ‘Extraordinary dog care, every single day.’   

Turn your passion for dogs into a career!  As a SPOT Customer Care Representative you will work with a team of like-minded dog-care providers to consistently deliver best in class service and care to SPOT’s four and two-legged clients.


As a Customer Care Representative at SPOT, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure the health, safety, and happiness of the dogs under SPOT’s care at all times
  • Manage the front desk of the store in a professional manner – cleanliness and accuracy are essential
  • Build personal relationships with each of our clients, learn and address their needs
  • Always try to exceed client expectations and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely fashion
  • Educate clients on our services, policies and procedures
  • Ensure all client interactions (face to face conversations, calls, emails) are handled professionally and accurately
  • Manage the scheduling of our daily services including; daycare, boarding, dog walking, transport, grooming, and training
  • Be knowledgeable about the retail products for sale in our store, and keep the retail displays clean and stocked with approved products
  • Cross-sell and up-sell services to our clients based on their needs

Performance Metrics:

  • Zero incidents with clients and their dogs
  • Client satisfaction as measured through surveys and feedback
  • Client retention and loyalty
  • Service execution (on-time service delivery, compliance with the dog care instructions of our pet parents)
  • Meet sales goals

Dog lovers that are interested in the Customer Care Representative opening should meet the following job requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales and/or customer care experience in the hospitality and/or service industry
  • Genuine interest in the well-being and care of dogs
  • Ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • High degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and tolerance of ambiguity
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings weekends and holidays
